Jose Carlos Zamora is currently the chief communications and impact officer at Exile Content Studio, where he has been working since April 2022. Previously, he was senior vice president of strategic communications at Univision Noticias from 2012 to 2022. He also worked for the Knight Foundation in the Journalism and Media Innovation program, and was a columnist and legal advisor for elPeriódico de Guatemala.

Zamora received a law degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, as well as a degree in media law from Georgetown, and an MPA from the University of Texas at Austin. Zamora was also recently a fellow in journalism and media innovation at Stanford University from 2019 to 2020.

Zamora was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
