Ignacio Albe is currently a Yenching Scholar at the Yenching Academy of Peking University, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in China Studies, Politics, and International Relations, looking specifically at Sino-Latin American relations. Albe graduated with an honors diploma from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a B.A. in International Relations, where he was also distinguished as his class valedictorian. During his undergraduate years, he was also an exchange scholar at Loyola University Maryland in 2017 and a Fulbright scholar at the University of Texas at Austin in 2018. Between 2018 and 2019, he also served as the assistant to the Mayor of Pilar, in the province of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he came face to face with the realities of climate change and how lives are destroyed by recurrent flooding.
Albe was an Intern at the Energy, Climate Change & Extractive Industries Program at the Dialogue in the Summer 2021 term.
