Hugo Maul

Hugo Maul Rivas is an economist from the University of Francisco Marroquín and has a master’s degree from UCLA. He is the Director of the Economic Area of the National Center for Economic Investigations (CIEN) and the Director General of the School of Government. Between 2003 and 2012 he was the Director of the Economics Department of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Francisco Marroquín. He was a member of the Followup Commission of the Fiscal Pact, and is a columnist for El Periódico and an economic analyst. He has authored various books on the national economy and articles in national and international academic journals. 
 
Maul was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
