Farid Kahhat holds a PhD in government from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been a commentator on international affairs for CNN en español, columnist for the newspaper Reformaand professor and researcher at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económica. He is a senior lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Kahhat is a columnist for El Comercio, and América Economía, and hosts the podcast Escena Internacional. His recent books include El eterno retorno, la derecha radical en el mundo contemporáneo (Editorial Crítica, 2019) and Tiempos Violentos, Rusia, Ucrania, China, Estados Unidos y el nuevo desorden mundial (Editorial Crítica, 2022).
