Eugenio Clariond Reyes-Retana

Eugenio Clariond Reyes-Retana is the chairman of Grupo Cuprum, S.A. de C.V., a manufacturer of aluminum products. Clariond has also served as chief executive officer of Grupo IMSA, S.A., an industrial conglomerate specializing in steel, aluminum and plastic products, and as chairman from 2003 through 2006. Clariond serves as independent director of Texas Industries, Inc.and Mexichem, S.A.

He serves as a director of Bat Conservation International and Southern Methodist University’s Edwin L. Cox School of Business, as well as a member of Advisory Council at the Red McCombs School of Business. He is a member of the Governing Board of Monterrey Tech (ITESM), the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, and the Jacobs School of Engineering of the University of California at San Diego.

 

Clariond joined the Dialogue as a Member in 2001.
