Emily Rugama is a senior program officer at American Jewish World Service (AJWS), where she oversees several grantmaking portfolios in Central America and the Caribbean. Rugama is an experienced grantmaker and program manager, supporting human rights activists in Central America and the Caribbean for over ten years.

Rugama graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies and Spanish.

Rugama was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
