Edgar Guillaumin Ireta is vice president of public affairs at Constellation Brands, where he leads the company’s government relations strategy in the United States. With over 15 years of experience in public affairs, lobbying, and corporate communication, he has played a key role in advancing binational trade, investment, and regulatory engagement between the United States and Mexico.
Guillaumin previously served as director of investment attraction for the state of Michoacán, where he contributed to the creation of the free trade zone at the Port of Lázaro Cárdenas. In the private sector, he has held positions at DHL and Kansas City Southern, focusing on logistics, infrastructure, and cross-border commerce.
He holds a law degree from the Universidad Latina de América and a PhD in public policy from Anáhuac University. Additionally, he has completed executive programs at Stanford University and Harvard Business School.
Guillaumin has served on committees and advisory councils for the American Chamber of Commerce, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the Water Advisory Council. He has also contributed as a political analyst to media outlets including Expansión and CNN.
