Danielle Trachtenberg

Danielle Trachtenberg is a trade economist at the Congressional Research Service (CRS), where she conducts research and provides nonpartisan analysis on the economic impact of tariffs—including Section 301 measures—digital trade, and cross-border data flows. Her work supports members of Congress, committees, and staff through briefings, consultations, and policy-relevant economic insights.

Trachtenberg holds a PhD in economics from Boston University and has a professional background in empirical trade research, with a focus on applied policy analysis and international economics.

Trachtenberg was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
