Izaguirre is a powerful advocate for girls and young women in Honduras, striving to achieve gender equality and respect for human dignity.  She is the Executive Director for the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) Honduras and has been a member of the Honduras National Health Committee. Claudia has a Master’s degree in Quality and Productivity Systems, and is a college teacher and internal quality auditor.
