Christa Walters is a Guatemalan political scientist and is currently coordinator of institutional outreach and strategic communication for the Movimiento Cívico Nacional (MCN) a civil society group that promotes the consolidation of a democratic republic in Guatemala. Walters, the author of several political opinion columns, graduated from the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations (EPRI) at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM). Additionally, she has teaching experience as an associate and assistant professor at EPRI-UFM and Universidad Popular de Guatemala.

Walters was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
