Carolina Trivelli

Carolina Trivelli, an economist with an MSc in Agricultural Economics from The Pennsylvania State University, currently serves as a senior researcher at the Instituto de Estudios Peruanos.

Trivelli holds advisory roles in various national and international institutions, including membership in the Technical Advisory Committee on Poverty Measuring (INEI) and the Peruvian Fiscal Committee, an independent body overseeing national fiscal sustainability. Trivelli is a respected columnist for El Comercio and Gestión, prominent Peruvian newspapers.

She formerly served as the minister of development and social inclusion of Peru (2011-2013) and has since occupied key positions such as managing director of Pagos Digitales Peruanos (2014-2016) and strategic analysis senior advisor for the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean (2021-2022.)

Trivelli was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
