Carlos Mario Estrada is the general director of the Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) and has worked in renowned positions in private institutions such as the Administradora de Fondos de Pensiones y Cesantías Colpatria, Factoring Bancolombia, Telefónica Móviles Colombia S. A. – Movistar, Banco AV Villas, Edatel and the Caja de Compensación Familiar Comfenalco, where he played the role of administrative director between 2012 and 2018. He has also been a member of boards of directors and management councils at Teleantioquia, EPM Bogotá, Asopagos, Asocajas and the Universidad de Antioquia, among other organizations. 

Estrada has a business administration degree, a specialization in marketing, and a master’s degree in public policy from the Universidad Eafit, Medellín.
