Carl Meacham is the president and chief executive officer of Global Americans. Born in the United States but raised in Chile, Meacham has deep ties to his mother’s homeland, enriching his expertise and perspective on Latin American affairs.
Meacham brings over a decade of experience as the senior professional staffer for Latin America on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC), where he worked under Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN). He has held the position of director of the Americas Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and has served in senior leadership roles in government affairs and advocacy for Latin America at Uber and PhRMA.
Most recently, he was the managing director at FTI Consulting, specializing in strategic communications, political risk management, and public affairs for Latin America. Meacham holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Albany, and master’s degrees from Columbia University and American University.
