Britton Clarke Mullen is president of the Border Trade Alliance (BTA), a binational organization dedicated to promoting policies that enhance trade, security, and economic development across the U.S.-Mexico border region. In her role, Mullen leads advocacy efforts to strengthen cross-border commerce and infrastructure, engaging with policymakers, business leaders, and government officials in both countries.

Mullen also serves as President of BC Consulting, LLC, a Washington, D.C.–based firm specializing in government relations and strategic policy advising. With extensive experience in legislative affairs and cross-border policy, she has been a prominent voice in shaping dialogue around the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), border modernization, and regional competitiveness.
