Brenda García Flores joined Deloitte in 2024 as a public policy partner, leading the practice for spanish-speaking Latin America (S-LATAM).
García Flores brings more than twenty years of experience in public policy services from another ‘big four firm’, where she earned a strong reputation for monitoring, lobbying, and analyzing legislative initiatives in the Mexican congress, as well as for cultivating close relationships with key decision-makers. Her clients have included multinational corporations across diverse industries.
She holds a degree in economics, a master’s degree in public policy, and a doctorate in public policy. Moreover, she also served as a visiting researcher at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. In 2014, she represented Mexico in Genesis Park, a distinguished global leadership program.
Her academic work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Política y Gobierno. García Flores is also a registered lobbyist in Mexico, a corporate member of the National Association of Professional Lobbyists (PROCAB), and an active participant in Mexico’s leading business chambers. She currently chairs the Public Affairs Task Force of the American Society of Mexico.
