Beatriz Pedreira is co-founder of Instituto UPDATE, a São Paulo-based NGO that studies and promotes political innovation in Latin America. She is currently UPDATE’s director of research and storytelling. Pedreira is a social scientist and political behavior researcher with more than thirteen years of experience in public and political innovation. She co-hosted the television series “Politics: new ways of using it” on Brazilian news channel GloboNews about new ways of doing politics in Latin America. At present, she coordinates the “Emerging Politics Women” project focused on the impact and potential of women elected to political office in six countries in Latin America.
Pedreira was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
