Ayesha Constable is the National Coordinator of the Japan-Caribbean Climate Change Partnership at the United Nations Development Programme. She also works as an independent consultant on climate change, gender issues, and disaster risk reduction, and is the founder of the Young People for Action on Climate Change Jamaica (YPACCJA) and GirlsCARE Jamaica. Constable is currently pursuing a PhD from The University of the West Indies, Mona. She holds a BA from the same university.
