Ashley Rodríguez joined the Inter-American Dialogue as an intern for the Energy Transition & Climate program and the Office of the President in May of 2024. She is currently a first-year master of public policy candidate for the Frank Batten School at the University of Virginia.
Before her time at UVA, Rodríguez graduated as a 5th-year division 1 student-athlete from Duquesne University with a double major in International Relations and Security Studies and a minor in Cybersecurity. Her areas of interest include international relations, humanitarian affairs, and post-conflict reconstruction.
Upon graduation from the Frank Batten School, she hopes to either work for a non-profit engaging in humanitarian relief, international development, or advancing women’s equality through US foreign policy.
