Antonio H. Pinheiro Silveira is the vice president for the private sector at CAF. Silveira holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He formerly held positions as the deputy chief of economic advice with the Ministry of Planning, secretary of economic monitoring with the Ministry of Finance, and as Minister of the Secretariat of Ports in Brazil.
Silveira also serves on the board of several public and private companies, including Caixa Econômica Federal, Vale S.A. (Fiscal Council), and Banco do Nordeste. He has also worked as the executive director for Brazil at both the World Bank and the IDB.
