Anita Bhatia serves as the assistant secretary-general for Resource Management, Sustainability and Partnerships and as deputy executive director of UN Women since August 2019. Before joining UN Women, Ms. Bhatia had a distinguished career at the World Bank Group, serving in various senior leadership and management positions, both at Headquarters and in the field. She has extensive experience in the area of international development, strategy, resource mobilization, strategic partnerships and organizational change management.
