Ana Lorena Delgadillo is the founder and executive director of Fundación para la Justicia y el Estado Democrático de Derecho. She is a lawyer who has served as Deputy Attorney for Attention to Victims of Crime and Community Services of the Federal District Attorney’s Office. There, she worked on the Law on Woman’s Access to a Life Free of Violence. Delgadillo was also Director of the Truth and Justice Area of the Commission to Prevent and Eradicate Violence Against Women in Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua. She has also worked as an investigative visitor of the Human Rights Commission of the Federal District. She currently does important work as the execute director of the Fundación para la Justicia y el Estado Democrático de Derecho (FJEDD) where she works with families of migrants that have disappeared or been executed in transit from Central America to the United States. Her previous work with migrants includes the creation of a regional committee to search for unlocated migrants and identify their bodies with the Border Project.
