Alfonso Tolmos is the founding partner and executive president of tras100d consulting, a firm specializing in public and private sector development, public policy design and implementation, strategic planning, and process evaluation.

In the past, Tolmos was vice minister of policy and social evaluation at the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS Peru), general director of investment policy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF Peru), advisor for modernization and decentralization at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM Peru). In addition, Tolmos was a researcher and specialist in rural development at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Tolmos received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) and his master’s degree in public administration in international development from Harvard University (USA).

Tolmos was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
