Aiyanna Maciel is originally from Raymond, Maine. She received her B.A. in World Languages and Cultures with a concentration in Spanish Translation from Stetson University in 2019 and is expected to receive her M.A. in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University in May 2021. She currently works for Georgetown’s Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship on issues of inclusive pedagogy, digital learning, and antiracist teaching strategies.
