Adrian Hearn is a professor of Latin American Studies at the University of Melbourne. He is author of Diaspora and Trust: Cuba, Mexico, and the Rise of China published by Duke University Press, and co-author of China and the Trans-Pacific Partnership: Asia-Pacific Integration or Disintegration?, among many other books and publications. Hearn’s research is driven by questions about the interaction of global processes with local experiences.
