Aaron Gorenc

Aaron Gorenc works in the Diversity and Inclusion Services Department as an education advocate for Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC), a 2-year technical college in Appleton, Wisconsin. His work involves fostering an inviting and supportive educational environment, where opportunities are accessible, and achievements are possible for every student and staff regardless of individual abilities, differences, and backgrounds.

Prior to his current role at the college, Gorenc spent 12 years overseeing the management and implementation of all study abroad initiatives and institutional partnerships with colleges and universities around the world to promote student mobility. During this time, FVTC was awarded three 100K Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund grants through partnerships with Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico and most recently ranked #14 in the 2020 OpenDoors® Report for US students who study abroad at associate’s colleges.

Gorenc received his bachelor’s degree in international business from UW-Whitewater and a master’s degree in comparative and international education development from the University of Minnesota.

Gorenc was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
