We are pleased to invite you to a discussion on the remittance trends of 2016 in Latin America and the Caribbean. This event is part of the Inter-American Dialogue’s Remittance Industry Observatory, an initiative that seeks to share information and analysis about the remittance market.

The Dialogue’s Manuel Orozco will review the main findings of a new report on remittance flows to the region, which again grew over 7% in 2016. The report takes a look at continued migration from Central America, increased flows to Paraguay, the rise in mobile transfers, and the effects of the U.S. political landscape on remittances.

Opening remarks will be followed by a wide-ranging exchange with participants. Please let us know if you can join us for this timely and important discussion.
