On January 14, the Mexico Program at the Dialogue, in collaboration with Integralia Consultores, will convene an online discussion on the risk scenarios most likely to shape Mexico’s business environment in 2026. Integralia is a leading Mexico-based consultancy specializing in political and economic risk, working closely with clients to monitor evolving scenarios, develop targeted mitigation strategies, and identify opportunities for growth amid uncertainty.
The discussion will center on Integralia’s most recent annual report, which examines ten key risks with the greatest potential to affect Mexico’s business environment and democratic governance in 2026. Using Integralia’s proprietary methodology, each risk is evaluated based on its potential impact and likelihood, drawing on a combination of quantitative and qualitative indicators. Each risk carries a distinct probability of occurrence that may shift throughout the year, underscoring the importance of continuous monitoring and strategic adaptation.
The session, moderated by Mexico Program director Lila Abed, will feature a conversation with Luis Carlos Ugalde, general director of Integralia and a widely recognized expert on Mexican politics, governance, and regulatory risk. He will be joined by Carlos Ramírez, co-director at Integralia with extensive experience in political risk assessment and public policy analysis, and Blanca Heredia, a distinguished political scientist and expert on democratic governance, institutions, and public accountability in Mexico.
Join the Mexico Program online on Tuesday, January 14, from 9:30 AM–10:45 AM ET, for a timely conversation on Mexico’s evolving risk landscape, its implications for businesses and investors, and the political and economic dynamics likely to define the year ahead.
