Event information

Starting on October 25, 2016, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will hold a part-time, six-week course for those interested in learning how trade agreements work and how governments and businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean can make the most of them.

CLICK HERE to learn more or enroll in this course, which will involve in-depth analysis of the provisions of regional and multilateral trade agreements. Participants will learn why countries in Latin America and the Caribbean have been unable to fully take advantage of existing agreements. The course will also cover new trends, emerging issues and dynamics, and possible future scenarios in trade agreements. Course instructors include top-notch academics, researchers, and trade policymakers.

The Inter-American Dialogue’s Latin America and the World program is pleased to be working with the IDB on the next iteration of this course, which will take place in Spring 2017.
