The governments of Chile and Colombia, together with the Inter-American Dialogue and the Organization of American States (OAS), are organizing the Side Event: Migrant and Refugee Children in the Americas. It will be held within the framework of the 53rd Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), which will take place on June 23.

The side event will be a space for conversation among representatives of governments, international organizations, and civil society on the challenges faced by migrant and refugee children in the Americas and the responses to address them.

The event, which will feature a keynote address by Michelle Bachelet, former president of Chile, will be broadcast LIVE on the Inter-American Dialogue’s Youtube Channel. A streaming video will go live on our YouTube channel when the event begins on June 23 at 12 PM EDT.
