The event will mark the release of The Chicago Council’s latest report on public opinion and foreign policy, written by Dina Smeltz, senior fellow for public opinion and foreign policy, and Craig Kafura, research associate. Based on an analysis of data from The Council’s annual public opinion survey, the report reveals surprising similarities in outlook between Latino and non-Latino populations on critical foreign and security policy questions, but highlights interesting areas of divergence as well.
