This event brought together former heads of state from across the Americas to engage in a conversation about the future of US-Latin American relations and affirm the importance of increased regional collaboration.
The summit comes at a crucial time as it falls shortly after the US presidential election. This virtual gathering of former presidents provides an opportunity for leaders from the region to address the importance of strong and stable partnerships between the United States and Latin America and the Caribbean in the coming years. As the profound social, economic, and political impacts of the coronavirus pandemic are being felt across the hemisphere, it is vital to bring together influential voices with distinct viewpoints to devise cooperative solutions to the crises.
