Regional Agenda for Early Childhood Development: Collaboration and Alliance-Building

  • Consolidate multisectoral structures and alliances that effectively coordinate public policies for early childhood across the region.
  • Guarantee the active and binding participation of civil society in all stages: formulation, financing, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Ensure public information systems that are accessible, disaggregated, and timely, enabling accountability and social oversight.
  • Call on civil society to mobilize citizens to generate sustained demand for quality services for early childhood.
  • Promote the meaningful participation of girls, boys, and families in the design, implementation, and evaluation of public policies.
  • Build a collaborative regional ecosystem among governments, civil society, and international organizations.
