From Production to Consumption: Japan–Latin America Cooperation in Food and Agriculture

This event on Tuesday March 3, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET co-organized by the Inter-American Dialogue’s Asia & Latin America Program and the Japan Association of Latin America and the Caribbean will examine opportunities for deeper Japan–LAC cooperation across food production, agricultural technology, supply chains, and food markets in light of evolving global conditions. It will also explore how these areas of cooperation can contribute to food security, supply chain resilience, and sustainable development, while reinforcing long-standing economic and cultural ties.
