This report analyzes the impact of Diaspora investment projects made in partnership with private sector and government institutions with the goal of supporting local economic development in Mexico. One example of Diaspora co-investment is the 4+1 project undertaken by migrant hometown associations with the support of the Mexican federal, state and municipal governments and Western Union.
