David Olivares Joins the Financial Services Advisor Board of Advisors

We are delighted to announce that David Olivares has joined the Financial Services Advisor’s board of advisors.

David is a senior credit officer in Moody’s Financial Institutions Group – Latin America, where he is responsible for ratings of Mexican, Colombian and Central American banks.

Prior to this, he had lead analyst responsibilities for various banking systems in the Latin American region, including Venezuela, Peru and the Caribbean.

David has more than 17 years of experience covering a number of financial institutions in the region.

He joined Moody’s Mexico in 2004, and his work experience prior to Moody’s includes Standard & Poor’s and the Mexican banking regulator (CNBV).

David holds a B.A. and an M.B.A. with finance degrees from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). In 1998, he joined the U.S. Federal Reserve System’s Supervisory Education Program, earning certification as a financial institutions analyst from the Federal Reserve System’s Board of Governors.
