Since 2019’s electoral debacle and the end of Evo Morales’s 13-year presidency, the party’s once dominant position has steadily eroded. The reasons for this are multiple. They notably include: Morales’s lack of a succession plan and ignoring of term limits; the acrimonious and damaging feud between President Luis Arce and Morales, which has greatly widened latent party schisms…”
