In addition, the reform implements new ESG standards, introduces a framework that allows hedge funds to adopt flexible investment strategies and includes provisions aimed at simplifying fundraising processes. Despite being the second-largest stock exchange in Latin America, Mexico’s stock exchange faces challenges in terms of liquidity and daily trading volume when compared to major and more mature global exchanges.
