The need is immense and multifaceted. For instance, it is crucial to prevent a health crisis due to the environmental conditions and the accumulation of debris and garbage, which could lead to the spread of infectious diseases. Hurricane Otis had a devastating impact on both housing and the hotel infrastructure, which serves as the area’s primary source of income.
