  • Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum told bankers and other financial services professionals at a March 19 conference that she wants banks to increase lending in order to support her efforts to boost investment in strategic infrastructure. Sheinbaum’s government wants to commit more than $323 billion toward major infrastructure projects over the next four years.
