Will Colombia See Success in its Wind Tender?

According to the World Wind Energy Association’s recently released half-year report, the world installed 38 percent more new wind power in the first half of 2023 as compared to 2022, and further acceleration is expected. Ahead of COP28, many countries are supporting the call for triple-installed renewable energy capacity by 2030. The reasons for this are not only the fight against the climate crisis and air pollution, but also economics, the accessibility of wind as a domestic resource and the strengthening of industrial capacity in one of the key technologies of the future.
